Step 1: Access 2-Step Verification Page

Click Security & Privacy ->2-Step Verification.


Step 2: Turn On 2-Step Verification

Click the toggle to turn on and confirm.



Step 3: Setting Up 2-Step Verification Method

You can choose one of the following verification methods:


Email Verification

The email you signed up with is your security email by default, and it is shown as Verified.


SMS Verification

  1. Add Phone Number: If you haven't linked a phone number, click Add Phone Number, enter your phone number, and select your country/region.
  2. Enter Verification Code: A verification code will be sent to your phone.
  3. Verification Successful: Once you enter the code, your phone number will be added successfully.
Important:
Currently the SMS service is not available in the following countries.

  • India (IN)
  • Jordan (JO)
  • Kuwait (KW)
  • Philippines (PH)
  • Qatar (QA)
  • Russian Feberation (RU)
  • Saudi Arabia (SA)
  • Singapore (SG)
  • Sri Lanka (LK)
  • Thailand (TH)
  • Turkey (TR)
  • Ukarine (UA)
  • United Arab Emirates (AE)
  • Vietnam (VN)
  • France (FR)
  • Australia (AU)
SMS services will be rolled out setp-by-step for the countries metioned above.


Third-Party Authenticator Verification 

  1. Download an authenticator app to your device, such as Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator. 
  2. Open the app and scan the provided QR code. 
  3. Enter the verification code generated by the authenticator app.


Step 4: Turn On Successfully

  • Once enabled, you will be required to go through two-factor authentication every time you log in using your email and password. Mobile logins do not require two-factor authentication. 
  • The default verification method will be used first when logging in.

Q: How do I switch my default verification method? 


A: Hover over the verification method you want to set as default and click Set as Default. This will make it the default verification method for your next login.
